Useful converter, best with simpler music

I play jazz and transcribe solos from recordings of my band members. This is the only software I could find that comes close to converting music into readable notes. It often gives me a good idea of what is going on the music in terms of melody, chords, and so on. I still have to edit, so this program isn't the end-all, but it has saved me hours of time.

Some music converts better than others. It goes without saying that you need to start with a clean recording. Also simpler music seems to give better results than complex music. For example, one track with a loud beat and heavy instrumentation came out unrecognizable. However, I ran a piano solo through it and the results were beautiful. This product has made a useful addition to my studio.

If it sounds too good to be true maybe it is. I think I may have wasted my money here hoping for the machines to do the work of transcription for me. First of all it's not that intuitive. Secondly, I couldn't get even a single, solo track to MIDI out so that it even resembled the audio version. There was tons of editing to do with each MIDI sample even after I bought the upgrades and higher sample rates. Keep looking because so far this ain't cuttin' it.
