I had one set of these speakers for over 2 yrs and they are going strong, in fact they sounded so good I got another set of them. I run 2 speakers plus an 18" JBL sub on each side and now I not only hear the music I feel it too.

I was shopping for a good pair of speakers for a long time and was thinking between Bose and JBL. I finally decided to go for the JBL 115 and very happy that I bought them. These speakers are so good although the bass is not really there yet but the sound is still awesome. I use the Behringer 2500 amp and Mackie 802-VLZ3 mixer, with the lexicon mx200 effects processor mainly for Karaoke and watching movies. These things are just awesome, you can't go wrong.

After much debate, I recently purchased a pair of these to go with my band's other speakers. I thought these would compliment our speakers, and they do -- but they also EXCEED them in terms of clarity and punch. The highs are super-crisp and our vocals have never sounded better. We play rock, but we have four and five part harmonies. I used to suffer a little vocal fatigue after some gigs. These speakers have actually lessened this and I can honestly say that they cut through beautifully allowing the vocals to really shine. The cabinets are well constructed and they come equipped with both 1/4 inch and speakon jacks. this is a quality speaker at a fantastic price. They look pretty sharp, too.

i have had a pair of these for almost a year now and they sound fantastic. However, the bottom cap where you can put a stand to hold the speaker up fell out, and I did no physical damage to them. I loaded them on top of the stand as instructed. and JBL will not warranty them. Thats frustrating.

I have been giging out and running sound for a few local artists around town, mixing all the musicians into these beefy speakers, with nothing but great overall sound.overall great buy for the money.
