More than I expected!!!

Thanks to everyone who wrote such stunning reviews about these little gems, you convinced me to buy... 3 of them, two for me and one for our lead player. I was hoping that a pair of them would be better monitors behind my drums than the 15" I was using that seemed to have a little too much low end for me, a lot of the vocals were getting lost under the extreme bass. These are perfect!! Great mid-range punch that just cuts through everything and feedback is easy to eliminate with a tweak of the EQ. Turns out I only need one, now the rest of the guys can fight over who uses the other one. Just like all the other reviewers claim, the plug jacks will be very prone to damage due to their plastic parts... less than $5 at radio shack fixes that, or just use 90 degree plugs to keep them out of the way. As monitors go these are loud with a lot of midrange punch that can be heard even over subs, they are light and easy to transport, and best of all they're affordable!!! I reccomend them to anyone looking for monitors for small venues, practice or studio use.

Bought 3 of these for use with our band over 5 years ago. We used them about twice a week for practice for over 3 years straight hooked up to our 1000 watt power mixer, and they still sound like the day we got them. Now we use them for monitors at our smaller shows from time to time. These will take a beating and still sound great. Best value for the price.

I bought 4 of these for use in an acoustic duo about 5 years ago. I still beat the crap out of them 3-4 times a month for the last 5 years and they wont quit.

Highs and lows arent top notch but more than adequate as a monitor for quieter bands or acoustic acts. For the price you cant beat them and I have run one of them at very high volume for a DJ monitor during a large benefit when we used up all of our larger monitors on stage for the bands and even after that abuse from an amp rated 4 times what this speaker is supposed to handle, the thing still sounds like the other 3 I purchased.

Its built like a tank...jacks might need some attention after a few uses but its an easy fix.

I wouldnt recommend them for a loud electric band in a club as they are simply not powerful enough, however, for acoustic acts or quieter acts, its perfect especially if you just need to hear yourself and arent too concerned about crystal clarity.

I started off using 2 per side for my acoustic duo, but now I am currently using only 1 regularly for myself for my new acoustic trio (my singer has his own monitor) but if something ever happened to all 4, id definitely replace them.

I got two Kustom KPC10M 10" Monitor Speakers for use mainly as PA speakers. I use them for voice and recorded music in seminars in smaller venues. They are perfect for my 35 watt per channel stereo powered mixer. You want to have your speakers rated for about 150% of the RMS output of the amplifier. The ones I got are actually 75 watts RMS not the 60 in the listing. So much the better. You can get Kustom PA speakers with the same components but I actually like these better for PA, as I can put them on stands or just set them on the floor pointing up 30 degrees for smaller gatherings and leave the stands at home. Only disadvantage is that the jacks end up on top when on stands, no big deal. Quality and sound both are excellent.
