purchased a pair of these monitors, since the band members were having a hard time hearing the vocals. what a difference these made, so much so that I had to move one further back away from me, because it was almost overpowering. sonic purity!

One of the bands we played with had one of these that they had broken the inputs on, so they sold it to me cheap and once the jacks were fixed, this thing rocks hard. It has a little more for lows than for highs, but paired with a Behringer that has screaming highs that I picked up at a local shop, it sounds great. I finally decided to buy another one of these to get even better immersion on stage. We've been routing the entire band (vocals, bass, drums and guitar) through this monitor and so far, nothing has broken. I also use the entire setup to listen to music when we're not playing. This speaker has been on around 7 or 8 hours a day and is still blowing my ears out! It's a great value.

No sound from horn

I have received 2 of these so far and neither one produced any sound from the horn. The bass sounds nice and full and the overall sound coming from the 15 inch speaker was sufficient to make it through a live gig but if I'm going to have one I'd like the horn to do something too as the highs were lacking on both units. Cabinet is nice and solid and has rubber feet on several sides so you can position it as needed.

I have 3 of the moniters and 1 10" Kustom moniter. They all work and sound great. We run 3 vocal mics, a bass drum mic, and our bassest's amp through a PMP5000 and it sounds amazing. Lots of bottem end and depth, but also great highs and clearity.
