Bargain Speaker Cabs That Bump!

I picked up a pair of these bargain 2x15" PA speakers recently and so far, I am very happy with them. The overall mid-range is a little muddy, but the bass is really punchy and the highs are crisp, which is good enough for me and EQ helped round it out a bit. I would have liked to have seen Speakon connectors in the back and it looks like the Tolex wrap isn't going to last long, but the rest of the cab is made well for the most part. I have purchased Kustom speakers and amps in the past and short of a pole mount that broke and some wiring I had to fix, they have been decent products for the price. Also: ALWAYS GO BY RMS RATING, NOT PEAK/MUSIC RATING WHEN POWERING CABS! It's amazing how many people blow up their gear, then blame it on the speakers/amps. Read the specs, match your watts and impedance, and enjoy your gear lasting longer.

I have been in the music industry since 1983, both as a musician and a mobile deejay. In this price range, you will NOT find a better-sounding full range speaker, PERIOD! Currently, I use 4 of them as a deejay, even though 2 are plenty. Of the tons of that I have purchased in all my years, these KPC 215's were a fabulous choice!!!!

These speakers rock! I bought two of them for mobile DJing on teh weekends and for different events and they have never let me down. I used to use JBL single 15" speakers, but these kick a whole lot more bass as well as highs. With a couple of 18" subs you can't go wrong. Best not to use a seperate crossover though, cuts too much of the lows.
