The Kustom Profile Two PA Speaker System is the big brother of the popular Profile System One, with increased power and more inputs. The Profile Two is built around a 5-channel powered mixer, which pumps out 300W, with 150W per channel stereo. The 8-band master EQ lets you shape the sound, and dial in lows precisely with sub frequency/subwoofer controls. Each channel also has 2-band (bass and treble) EQ controls. The 5 mixer channels all have balanced XLR and 1/4" combo inputs, with stereo inputs on channel 5.

All channels on the Kustom Profile Two feature monitor volume controls and stereo panning controls. An additional discrete AUX channel has stereo mic and line (1/8") inputs. A 24-bit digital processor delivers 16 effects, including Double Take Vocal, a vocal doubler that gives any singer's performance a bigger, richer sound. An effects loop allows insertion of external effects units. Each Kustom speaker cab, made larger for enhanced projection and performance, features 2 heavy-duty 8" speakers, plus a neodymium compression driver with 1" exit.

Little System Packs A Big Punch!

I have used this system for small to medium Karaoke gigs and it has performed wonderfully! I have had 3 microphones and a stereo line input going into it and everything has worked well. It is astounding sound considering the size and portability of the unit. The sound is crystal clear. The digital effects and EQ are very useful and hard to find in this price range. It even has a line level monitor out which I use to run a powered singer monitor. I also purchased the optional speaker stands, which are a must, since regular speaker stands will not work with this system. The only thing I would suggest is a better quality roller bag. It only lasted a few gigs when it fell apart. The build quality of the unit itself is fine.

This Kustom Profile Two system was purchased to replace a Kustom Profile One for vocals and micing saxophones for a big band in small to medium venues and I have to say that it does a nice job at that. We use 10 brass and with this system the saxophones and vocals have no problem coming through. It has plenty of nice features and very clear sound quality. Now the negative stuff. The composite material that is used on the amp and speakers chips very easily, though it appears to be the same material that was on our older Profile One system but we did not experience the same problem on that system. Another problem is the on this particular system the Kustom name has been placed upside down on one of the speakers, to me that is something that should have been caught in final inspection at the factory. Lastly, one of the biggest selling points to me for this system are the bags that come with it, I need something that packs up quickly and is very portable. The zippers on all 3 pieces are the cheapest I’ve ever seen, it’s not easy to open or close them as they will pop open at any point within the zipper, how expensive are zippers anyway. Along the same lines the shoulder straps are useless as the clamps on the ends tend to get sprung the wrong way. Overall I rate the sound quality, price, and features very high but very low on the quality control.
