The Lynx LT-FW Aurora FireWire Card is an LSlot audio interface for Lynx Aurora 8 and Aurora 16 AD/DA converters. The Lynx LT-FW FireWire 400 interface enables up to 32 channels of analog and digital input and output at sample rates up to 96kHz. At 192kHz, you can access 16 channels of analog and digital I/O with the LT-FW card.

In development for over a year, the Lynx LT-FW connects Lynx Aurora converters to FireWire equipped Windows or Mac computers, offering high-quality audio performance, control, and stability. Nearly all of today's laptops and most desktop computers have FireWire ports, and with careful design and clever engineering, FireWire provides an excellent interface for high sample rate multichannel audio.

With just a MacBook Pro, one Aurora converter, a quality multichannel mic preamp, and select microphones you'll have a fully functional 16-track portable recording studio that fits in the back of a Miata. That kind of mini-rig can record at sample rates up to 192kHz!
