Easy to install and set up....it gets along fine with my existing sound card. Sound quality is pretty better than I expected, considering the price. Drivers seem to be solid. I'm using Cubase for recording and I occasional use Acid for loop based stuff, it works fine with both programs. I'm very happy with my Audiophile 192!!

I've had no problems with this since installation. It runs well with Sonar, Windows Media, and Roxio players. I read the other reviews, and have not experienced their problems, but they are on different applications. The sound is good, and the converters seem to be working well.

I bought this card to run in my duel 2 GHz G5. The install was simple but after the first restart it was clear that the settings weren't being saved and I had to reload them from the control panel after every restart. M-Audio tech support said that this workaround was the way to go since the settings wouldn't stick. They offered no "solution" except the one I had already figured out. The card ran very nicely with Garageband and really flakey with Logic Express- often stuttering and going into an infinite loop requiring me to shut down the application. The card shipped with driver version 1.5 and the latest version from the M-audio site was 2.05- these drivers were even flakier than the ones shipped with the card. When the card runs it sounds great but it has been undependable for me. I've ordered a firewire interface rather than fight with this card...

There is almost no hum or distortion with this thing. I love it. Making professional songs with a Mackie 1402, Sonar and this thing. Only 2 I/O but that is all you need for home recording.
