This interface is definitely worth the money, it sounds great and it works with a wide variety of software. The only problem I had with mine is a capacitor went bad, but I found an easy tutorial on the internet that showed how to fix it with a saudering iron. Works like a charm!

I have 4 of these and would never consider recording a single piece of music without it. I have owned almost every single interface out there and will put this up against all of them. Hands down the best converters in this price range and well beyond. Everytime someone askes me what I record with I tell them Delta 1010's. I don't need to say anymore as these units are the one part of my studio that really allows me to work on production and not have to worry how my sound is getting into my system. They just work and sound great. PERIOD........

This interface sounds great! Low noise and makes you music sound like it was recorded by a pro. The only thing I didn't like was the Live 6.0 it came with. It doesn't allow you to use all the inputs at one time. Not even the updated Live 7.0 demo version would allow this. I found that very upsetting. I ended up going with Pro Tools 7.0 and it works great. Just a heads up if your like a drummer and want to use all the inputs to record, Your going to probably have to purchase a different software unless you have a mixer. Live's not the greatest software and is usually over price for the updates.

I've actually gotten mine second hand from another studio, which makes the apparent quality all the more impressive. I have never had one problem with this card. It has been recognized in every distribution of Linux I've installed up to this point, both 32 and 64-bit versions. The routing, the clarity, the stability... everything has been top notch. If you're a Linux user looking for a solid interface, you can feel safe getting this guy.

I've used this IO in a pc and a mac and it has performed competently on both platforms. this unit has a very low noise floor and works well for high fidelity recording. i'm a drummer so I constantly utilize all 8 TRS inputs for tracking and this unit has never given me issues. NOTE to mac users: my unit did not come with mac drivers so I went to m-audio.com to download the proper drivers
