I have been using this card in a Mac G4 running Logic Express and it is a great card. No latency problems, great sound quality. The Delta control panel gives you a lot of options for routing sounds to the various inputs/outputs. My only complaint is that the Delta COntol panel doesn't remember the settings when you start up the next time. A minor inconvenience but an inconvenience nonetheless. Still recommended though.

To record, I use the SPDIF digital input coming from a DigiTube pre-amplifier and that way I'm not really bothered by the RCA breakout cables. In fact, for my use two output channels are sufficient: one for the monitors, one for the headphone in the voice booth (using the direct monitoring). Latency at 48kHz is about 11ms in my P2.8GHz system because I use a buffer of 512 samples to avoid any glitch. This is not good enough for voice (use direct monitoring for that), but is OK for playing a software synth. Only 7 on features 'cause nowadays 192kHz is the standard; but I don't need it... Sound quality is very satisfying.

I bought mine a year ago, and has worked like a charm. Crystal clear recording in Sonar 2.0 XL. But when I installed the cakewalk producer 4 it started have problems. (Stuttering and popping noises....) come to find out it's a known problem with this particular card and Cakewalk Software! I went back to sonar 2.0 and it works like a charm. So until the folks at Cakewalk figure out the problem with 4.0 I'm rockin the old school. Other than that it's a great CARD! I use it in Sonar, Reason, and Native Instruments.

I'll keep this simple for you. You can't beat this card even at two or three times the price. Extremely versatile and east to use. Need I say more. It's great when I go to the studio. Instead of it taking me hours to dump midi to audio it only takes me 10 to 15 minutes. Ten...count em...ten outputs. The unit paid for itself with my first studio session.

Great product for Live , Reason and Protools. Oh and DONT FORGET to turn off all your system sounds cuzz your fall in love with it so much when your up 3am in the morning recording with all your outputs you dont want that irratating *BEEP* from some windows dialog getting into your mix. Low latency too....just wish it had a MIDI port on it.
