I bought this a year ago and could never get it working on either PC or Mac. I recently tried with the latest driver. The Pro worked fine but no luck with the Ultra.

This unit is very easy to operate. It gives a clean signal to the computer. I had no problems worth mentioning. It does what it's design to do. And it produces some very nice recordings.

I use this a/d converter with a mac book and logic 8. this is perfect for home recordings. where else can you get 24bit/96000 for this price! I found that it is best to mic drums with this product (kick, snare and a pair) for guitars I do a direct in from the m-audio and use plug-ins with logic. Very good product. If you know how to mix and use this product properly you can get close to a pro sound.

This product, to me; is awesome. If you're looking to record with more than a decent sounding mix, this is for you. Perfect to record drums individually, top notch sounding pre-amps, 8 ins, 8 outs. The ONLY slight drawback about this is that there are only 4 pre-amped inputs, in other words, you'd need a pre-amp to get the other 4 channels working. .
