This collection is great if you want to be impressed with Chamberlins drum prowess and is well recorded, but completely useless in the context of constructing an actual song.

I am a fan of jimmy's playng and have always liked the sounds on pumpkins records. So I bought this collection sight unseen with high hopes... big disappointment. The beats / grooves included in this collection I found to be practically worthless. They are so busy and so.. just.. wrong. Why couldn't Mr. Chamberlain, who is a really really great drummer provide us with something we could use. Good strong basic beats with a variety of ghost strokes and then of course a couple files of busy nonsense. For me, and the style of music I produce and write, there is nothing here I can use. Be advised to check out the beats before you spend your money.
