Great monitors for those of you on a budget financially and space wise. They don't take up a lot of room but you'd never know it with what they put out! Great sound, balanced pretty well. The only thing keeping them from a 5 is lack of a deep bass sound. But overall good monitors!

I've been using these for my demoing for about 18 months now. I bought them originally because of their size. Very compact. As far as sound quality goes, they do the job. I don't mix my demos anymore so all I need is something loud. These get fairly loud. They don't handle everything well though. They peak with a lot of instruments. They're a good solution for the starter home studio. I'm about to upgrade so something a bit nicer, but they've served me well. Never had any issues with them.

If you're looking for monitors to do great mixes, amazing tracking, look further. You won't find it anywhere near this price range. For me, I just do demos, I leave the important stuff up to the professionals. These are perfect for me, they handle pretty well, they peek a little bit when blasted, but they get loud enough without having to push them to the limits all the time. They sound pretty decent, they lack a little low end, but they're so compact I couldn't care less. You'll be able to do decent demo work with these. But don't expect them to be JBL's. All-in-all, I'd say these are a pretty good deal for the home enthusiast who doesn't try to pretend they are pro's.

These were intended to be for travel to fit in my studio in bag. For the most part they sound fantastic for speakers their size. Pretty full sounding and clear. The only issue I have is that even when there is nothing connected to them or even the same circuit for that matter they have a low frequency hum. I tried every room in my house and even took them to my drummers place and they had the same hum....

Now for the price I won't complain but I will say I don't use them much because of the hum. They are great for MP3 players though.
