Its transformer-coupled output is very reminiscent of the circuit designs found in early British recording consoles. When used for recording vocals the microphone has amazing clarity and warmth. It is a stunningly detailed microphone that is also appropriate for instrument miking, especially of string and wind instruments. Requires phantom power.

I've been using this mic for a couple weeks, and already my recordings are greatly improving. The quality of this mic for the price is very good. Plus it comes with two XLR cables and a pop filter. Great vocals, acoustic guitars sound nice on it as long as you have a decent guitar. All in all great value and quality for the price.
