I've been searching for a low cost LDC mic that captures my voice (male alto to tenor range) with presence and "air" and the MXL V6 delivers. It has become the first mic I reach for when i'm doing a vocal session. It resides in my mic cabinet alongside a Rode NT2-a, CAD e350, MXL 2003 and a TOA K2.
