There's nothing that this can do that a $5 adapter from Radio Shack can't. The unit does not generate 48V of phantom power, so you can't use a condenser mic. The 1/4" line adapter fits too tightly into the unit (I was affraid that I was going to break it every time I plugged it in) and is too loose on the female side. In short, save yourself some money and go to Radio Shack, or cough up the cash for a proper interface.
