Bought this a month ago...really cool. The vocal canceler work great. Nice and light weight...And the free gig bags nice, it took only 2 weeks to get it from Mackie.

I work as a KJ/Professional vocalist and this is my mixer of choice. With the ability to tune a different singer every 5 minutes for 6 hours as quickly and as simply as this board lets you, it can't be beat. The one and only gripe I have about this product is that there is no adjustment for the mids, and for vocal channels, that kinda sucks. Just highs and lows on the individual channels, but you do have the ability to tweak the mids on the main graphic EQ. Also the effects that are built into this board are the best I've ever heard coming out of something NOT an outboard processor.

The Mackie DFX Sound Mixer was just what our five piece Variety Rock band needed to allow us to run sound onstage. If I can do this anyone can. Easy to see color coded sliders, lots of headroom with built in effects and a simple five band equalizer. Most venues we play dont require an instrument mix in the mains so it makes the DFX12 a perfect choice for four vocals and a kick drum. This little mixer is pushing a Crown PB-3 for bottom and a Crown XLS-802D for mains and a Crown PB-2 for monitors and with its built in effects and simplicity of operation is a solid choice for our band.

Very good mixer. I'm in a thrash metal band and it works great for us. Once u figure out the individual eq for the channels it sounds totally awesome. Although I added a 15 band Rane EQ that I got from my dad and it changed the sound a lot more and the sound almost sounds studio. But alone it sounds great and have experianced no problems with it.

Been using this mixer along with 2 Mackie SA1521Z powered speakers as my stage monitors for my Roland TD20 V-Drums. The gain is amazing and the sound will pound your head. The clean and dynamic volume that I get out of this setup is outstanding. Your ears will give out before this setup. If full, rich, powerful, distortion free sound is your quest then look no further...you have found the holy grail!
