For the longest time I was just using a thin ankle sock as a pop filter and I guess it did the trick for a little while but lets face it, singing into what strongly resembles a foot can throw your creative concentration off a little.

I finally went out to local store and bought this one. Super cheap and gigantic difference! Gone are the days of hearing a vocal playback and having to rerecord because you overloaded your mic with a 'Fff' or 'Puh' sound

It fits on to any mic stand and even if you don 't have a mic stand you could probably cowboy something up. Do yourself a favor and buy this filter!
