Although this thing only costs three bucks, it is not worth your money nor your time. You cannot tell by the misleading pic, but the part that grips the mic is RUBBER, not reliable, pliable plastic! This stupid thing doesn't hold mics solidly worth a damn. Maybe a mic with a cord might not move around as much, but my cordless mics were sliding all over. Never again will I buy one of these junkers!

I bought 2 and neither tighten enough to even hold a mic. Plus it's too big to even hold a Shure 57A beta, the mic just slides all the way to the screen.

These work decently on a low budget... but if you really want a good solid mic clip, get a rubber one! that way, you can take it out easier and put it back in...

Please... If you have an SM58 with a switch the mic will slide all the way to the screen and cover up the switch, also it is not tight in it at all and if you use a goose neck and pull it down level the mic will slide out!!! Maybe this would be good for some mic somewhere, but not on this planet. But seriously it may work on some wireless mic's that are much fatter than a standard corded mic.

The first time I touched the "Heavy Duty" Musicians Gear clip, I realized it was not heavy duty. It is very flimsy and not reliable. But, I guess it's the cheapest for a reason. Spend a few extra dollars for a better one.
