Ok, to clear things up. This product isn't made for multi-band purposes! It's simply designed for one specific musician who is going to use multiple guitars or basses.

Anywho, I just got this thing and used it live. It realy worked switching off from my Telecaster, to my Strat, to my Les Paul, to my Martin. The Nady 401X wireless system is good. Just don't bang it around! Of course, I only use it to get away from my cables. I keep the actual receiver box on the floor and move across a 20X24 stage!

I bought this unit because it had 4 wireless in a rack mount unit. I wanted wireless for 1 mic, 2 guitars, and a bass. This unit was about the same price as a good individual unit, so I thought I would give it a try. The range on it is great. It says 250' line of sight, but I got 300' thru the wall of my house to the outside before it got staticy. The only problem I have with the unit is that is easily prone to interference from other devices, such as my computer. I have to turn everything down and adjust the antenaes to help prevent interference being picked up. So far, I just adjust the antenna that's picking up interference, and it's okay after that. The batteries that come with it are not very good either, but they never are. Oh, and the outputs are XLR, so if you are going to run your guitar into a pedal board, like I do, your gonna have to get an adapter or a hi-z mic cable to hook it up. Considering the price, it's not a bad unit for a budget. If you only need one, I hear guitar bug is great, but if you need four, this one can save lots of $$$. It can be rack mounted, and it has great range. Overall, I am pleased with the unit.

This, like all nady products, suck monkey balls. Mine broke after the first gig. The quality and craftmanship is terrible. I have bought Nady products in the past and most products from this company are the same. They are terrible. Again I would not waist money on this, just stick to cables. If you need a good system go with AKG or Shure.
