Dead Out Of Box Failure

I have worked with Nady equipment in the past. The emphasis is having to "work with it", to have it function properly. This should be a simple put a battery in and turn on device. I am not surprised though, I got what I expected for the money.

Great For Small Band

I used these in a 3 piece small club band and was very satisfied. I used Sony ear buds that fit in the ear canel. The bass was clear and powerful. I'm now using them in a bluegrass band with a single mike. Very pleased.

Not for even the part time musician

I have 6 guys in the band and needed a system that would provide freedom on stage as well as a good sound. We needed pro quality but tried the cheapest price 1st to see if it would work. We found that these did not have the low end in the ears that we needed and a lot of high hissing. Bass singers, players, and drummers beware. You may not hear what you need to hear to stay on (IE yourselves). My bass was disgusted by the sound in his ears. I am a vocalist and had a hard time staying on beat because my ears were stopped up with high hissing and I could not hear the bass or drums except bleeding through the ears after bouncing off the back wall. Maybe a really good set of earphones would solve the problem but we gave up on these really fast. We ended up sending these back and getting the Shure 600s (very good system by the way) after only 1 show. The cheap Nadys seem great for the hearing impaired church service monitor but not for live bands (maybe try Nadys newer system for bands or Galaxys if you need cheaper stuff).

For the last year I have used the p.e.m and love it, it has a clear sound and for the price it is also great, I have a band and it helps with less equipment to carry and helps with more stage room when performing. My band mates are getting ready to order theirs.

I usually steer clear of Nady equipment in general, but my band really needed som pems. We tried them and they work great. they're not 100% clear top quality, but for the price it gets the job done. Buy It.
