I bought this unit about 2 years ago. I do small gigs with it on my acoustic guitar. Works great! I have to plug my jack in about 3/4 of the way in to get both mains and monitor levels. I use a 15 watt practice guitar amp as a monitor and the sound is pretty clear. I guess I gotta use a stereo 1/4 inch jack in the amp output in order for it to work properly. The only thing I don't like is what you hear in the monitor is what you get. You can't mix separately the levels you want from the mains. Anyway its a great buy!

This thing really is about as bad a piece as you can get and still have it work at all. The one I used has a bad relay in it, so it works sometimes if I cycle the power on/off several times. Not worth the cost of repair. And, 130 watts my a**!

Not bad rig - ok for a starter unit

I bought this used in a pinch then read the user reviews and nearly panicked with buyer's remorse thinking I just did something really stupid.

Actually just the opposite. Unit ran almost non-stop out doors for 8 hours a day driving background music, public address announcements, mic'd sax, keyboard, mic'd guitar amp with no problems.

The delay settings aren't great - I'd rather see this redesigned with a reverb, but if you need awesome effects, buy a rack processor.

For a basic 130 watt, 4 channel unit this is fine. Make sure the unit is vented so it doesn't get over heated, the input voltage switch is set correctly and you've got the correct impedence on your speakers - all common sense stuff. If you need to drive a PA at Spinal Tap levels look else where. But if an inexpensive, no frills unit is needed, give this one a try.

Great value for small venue

I use this head with 4 10" (2 as monitors) in small, acoustic venues either with guitar/vocal or to reinforce 5 pc jazz ensemble and it works just fine. The delays are very useful with my vocal at the 120ms setting @ 50% and I use a guitar EFX unit for my guitar anyway. I think the problem with some people is they buy this thing and crank it up for their ROCK or HIP HOP/DJ thing and what do you expect? Buy a $2K PA if thats what ya want to do. This is a great PA if taken care of and used for what it was intended for. Appearance better in real life than photo. Inserts are much appreciated also. I bought the whole setup with stands and Nady speakers with my head and very happy with the whole thing. I use it with a larger PA as my monitor amp/speakers when needed too.
