I bought this thing because I already owned a MG pop filter that my son loves to pull on and chew on the nylon.. I put this pop filter in front of the half eaten MG pop filter and I have almost flawless recording.. Minus my mistakes... It has done away with the plosives and gives me a much more clean recording.

I purchased this pop filter about a year ago and it has did wonders for me. The goose neck bends and stays in place and it holds on to the mic stand real tight and easy!!!

I bought this over the Musician's Gear one because it was cheaper, and MG stuff always appears cheap and gets bad reviews, so I went with this. I have to say that the pop filter does an alright job. The holes of the metal mesh are aimed downwards so that's the direction the air is shifted towards. It doesn't diffuse the air pressure, it merely shifts it. It does this fine, but to make sure I killed all my poppings, I took a pair of pantyhose and cut a foot off and covered this filter with it. I can honestly blow a huge burst and not feel a thing. Enough about that, the stupid goose neck. I really despise it, other people are saying there's stays, but mine doesn't stay in a good spot for crap. It may be because mine is coming from underneath my mic, instead of hanging from above and in front of, but nonetheless, it doesn't stay well, but I deal. Bottom line, it's cheap and it works.

Ok let me keep it simple. This was horrible! I got it and I clipped it to my mic stand and it would not stay. My wife ended up having to tie it in place with twist ties. Pass on it and spend the money and get what you pay for.

I bought this pop filter with a cheap filter in mind expecting it not to work out as well as a mesh pop filter. But, so far I've been pretty happy. I make original music and it really help's out. My recordings sound top notch and it's a stable little thing. I recommend it if your starting out and want a good pop filter and your on a budget.
