The Nacy SCM 900 with CM 90 microphone package combines a pair of very affordable and useful studio microphones. The SCM 900 is a large diaphragm cardioid mic perfect for recording studio vocals, acoustic instruments, orchestras, choral groups, ambient instrument audio, and numerous live sound applications. The Nady SCM 900 features a large, pressure-gradient condenser, gold-sputtered diaphragm, and FET preamplifier for warm, natural reproduction of the most subtle to the most powerful audio sources. Requires 48V phantom power. Internal shockmount construction for the highest structural integrity and rugged reliability. With transformer-coupled balanced outputs, true condenser design (elements constantly biased by the preamp), full frequency response, and transparent audio.

The CM 90 is a classic cardioid small-diaphragm (3/4") condenser mic ideal for recording and stage reinforcement of acoustic guitar, drum overheads, hi-hats, snares, piano, and horns. Features high sensitivity, extended smooth, full frequency response and very high SPL capability. Requires 48V phantom power. Transformerless design for minimal self-noise and increased dynamic range. Rugged turned-brass housing and internal sub-assembly shock mount for maximum reliability.

great vocal/acoustic mic set

These mics are great. The build quality isn't that great but look at the price. Sound is what matters here. I ran both mics thru a Mackie 402-VLZ3 mixer and they came to life. The frequency range is perfect using the SCM-900 for vocals and the CM-90 for acoustic guitar. No need for EQ on the vocals. You don't have to have 20Hz-20kHz frequency response. These mics are nice and warm and not too muddy. I prefer to use the low cut on the mixer instead of on the SCM-900. There is NO mic clip for the SCM-900.
