I bought one of these mics and its ok for what I do. Which is play at nursing homes. If I were to play in front of a audience of people that would make comments about your equipment your using I'd invest in Shure mic's.

This mic is a great starter mic for anyone who just needs to be heard. The cable that comes with it is useless however, so be prepared to invest in a new one shortly after buying it.

The Nady SP-4C is awesome. I've had mine since January 2006, and it hasent failed on me yet, where as all of the other Microphones I've ever used have broke within a couple of years. I use this microphone when I scream in Hardcore/grindcore bands, so I go pretty tough on it, then when I record Indie/country music on it, it works fine and picks everything up. Great mic and way worth it once you buy a new cable and grill.

i bought three of these to use for recording purposes. they have a nice response but are a little bassy in tone if you get them too close to the instruments. other than that i think they are great for the price.

I bought this mic to plug into my synthesizer's vocoder. Since I run it through the vocoder I can't really comment on the sound quality. But I can say that it works, seems to be built pretty sturdy, and all around seems like a decent mic. Unfortunately the cable that comes with it was always coming loose and losing the signal. So you should probably invest in a new cable.
