For vocals these mics are actually very good but when you use them for instruments the bass distors terribly. I dissassembled one and there was a large weight in it so it took it out and it felt kinda cheep. also DO NOT use them with phantom power on it WILL destroy them. overall for the price these are great as a basic use vocal mic but bad as an instrument.

This is a really good microphone especially for how much you pay for it cuz its not expensive at all for how good it is. It produces pretty clean noise.

I bought these for my DJ job but found out they sound better then my sure SM 58. I have used them with my band for about 3 months and they kill the sure as far as quality and value. I would recommend this for any hard rock musician.

I thought for the price I could not lose even if they don't sound great. I was shocked. These are such a good value and sound just great in a live situation. Remember it picks up sounds all around but if your cool with that buy two sets before this place comes to their senses.
