I had a chump singer from an ac dc tribute band destroy one of my sure mics and tare up a mic cable twirling the mic like he was the guy from the who. You want to be a star you get the STAR POWER

it aint no shure mike but hey for the price its excellent its sturdy and built solid i was surprised at how tuff it was for the low cost of it. great to have for a extra emergency mic. And the sound aint to bad either ive use it for recording with a 8 track and it works pretty good. ive seen plastic mics that cost more. on a budget and need a mic cant go wrong. I cant find a better mic for the same price simple as that. had mine a couple years now and if it ever goes out i definitely get another 1

Um this thing is really chincy I dont think it would be a good idea to use this in a gig... but maybe band practice. All in all I wish I didn't get this mic. But hey its good for begginers... if there is such thing as a beginner vocalist...

I cannot believe the positive reviews on these things. These mics are terrible. They feel like tin, and have an incredible amount of handling noise. I can't believe anyone would spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on a PA and then front it with this.

There are so many better choices available for just a few dollars more. Get a grip, people.

I bought one of these as a backup for my mobile DJ rig, and honestly wasn't expecting much. But hey, it's cheap, so I thought, "why not"?

Right out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised by the appearance of quality and heft of the mic. It's a ruggedly built mic with a diecast metal casing and steel windscreen. It's built as well as a mic costing 10 times the price.

Plugging it in, it sounds remarkably similar to my main Shure PG-series mic I use in my DJ rig. Full bodied, and crystal-clear with no self-noise or other nasties.

I also play in two regular gigging bands, and we use Shure Beta 58s, SM58s, EVs, and Behringer XM8500 mics. I would say that the Behringers have a little hotter output and a bit more extended frequency response than this Nady, but I still wouldn't hesitate to do a band gig with the Nady. It's a good mic, and at the price, you just can't beat it!

If you're a mobile DJ, or in a band on a budget, this is an ideal mic.

I might add that of all our mics, the Behringer XM8500s are the best sounding ones of the bunch, even slightly edging out the pricey Shure Beta 58s.
