Customer Service Nightmare

These speakers are ok, but the crossover inside the cabinet burns up in no time. I had a few inductors melt, and had some capacitors and resistors just fall straight off. I am pretty good with electronics so I decided to fix them myself, and buying my own components. When I called their customer service to ask the size and type of inductors they used, they were VERY rude to me and pretty much told me to piss off ... overall, the crossover is very cheaply made and not made to last or withstand anything. The speakers on the other hand are pretty decent. Once I fixed one of the crossovers, they bumped pretty loudly in our jam space, and we push drum triggers and vocals through it ... just get a better crossover for it.

I bought these speakers from a friend who stated they failed and would not work. The crossovers were literally melted from running a 600 watt amp (300 watts per speaker). The horns had also malfunctioned. The only good point is that the woofers are the only quality piece and will truly hold up to 600 watts. A little looking on ebay and replaced the crossovers with 600 watt cerwin-vegas for 30 bucks and got thousand watt horn drivers for 50 bucks. So if you get these I recommend sinking another 80-100 bucks into horns and crossovers because these speaker will now vibrate the ductwork in my house loose if I give them a full 1000 watts. Good Luck.

Overall sound quaility is average. However, workmanship is shoddy. Rear of cabinet buzzes loud enough to be heard over stage monitors. Screws in stand insert pulled out of the pressed cardboard cabinet. Texture finish is very thin & easily torn or bruised. Insulation not glued in properly. They are not roadworthy. There is a reason these are the cheapest speakers on the market. You get what you pay for.

I'm pretty impressed with these speakers. The woofers have smooth punch and the compression drivers have a lot more bandwidth and range than piezo horns. Although the power is rated in Peak 600W (twice the actual RMS 300W) for the price of other speakers, I bought two of these to daisy chain. This doubled my power handling and almost quadrupled my sound. The main componenet to sound generation is the cabinet anyways and these are solid and well constructed. With a little EQing I can get a great tone. I'm happy.

capacitor trouble

As far as the speakers go they seem to work ok. I have had trouble with the capacitors and when trying to get a replacement from Nady they flat said they wont help. I guess they dont stand behing their equipment.
