I have used this mic for recording rapping. It sounds better with software compression than analog condenser mics I have used with a rack compressor, and which cost several times what this unit is priced at. If Nady added a dB response adjustment switch this review would be 5/5 across the board.

To pacify the whim of building a home recording studio, I kicked off with buying this Nady USB 1C Condenser Mic. It is easy-to-use and hassle-free as described, for the USB connectivity facilitates the plug-and-play feature which serves as a main reason of simplicity and yet profession. Greatly recommend this mic if budget is under $100 while expect immaculate sound. Plus,this mic is bundled with a FREE tripod mic stand. Great value overall.

For the price, this mic is absolutely outstanding. This is the first time I've purchased a USB mic, and it was just an experiment to see if it can compete with other condenser mics that I own and I must say it was just about a tie. Aside from the comparasins, this mic is great. The features are great, the sound quality is great, the price is fair, and it's easy to use in a home recording studio.
