The Nady VHM-7 microphone's cardioid pattern, dynamic cartridge produces the thick, fat tone needed for cupped use with a harmonica as well as extremely smooth, clean vocals. The VHM-7 Bushman Torpedo mic allows singing harp players the convenience of playing and singing through the same mic without sacrificing sound quality. The chromed aerospace metal casing not only looks retro-cool, it's bullet-proof tough and comfortable to hold. Fluted design allows shaping of wah-wah sounds and altering tone while virtually eliminating feedback. Engraved model number and supplied chromed mic clip complement the mic perfectly.

Good for Vocal & Harp

This is a Good Mic if you Sing & Play Harp! It's a bit on the clean side, so it wont get that old warm chicago tube sound without a lot of tweaking. But if you Sing & Play your harmonica Clean, this may be your ticket! Pretty Good Price.

Needs a volume switch

The best part of this mic is that I get plenty of volume with no feedback. I also own a Green Bullet, but I find that mic far too "hot" when I cup it. If it had a volume knob it would be 5s across the board. Now, I have to resort to a foot switch to alternate between lead and background playing.

good looks, no punch, Bushman Torpedo mic

I bought it and tried it, on stage and off. The Good- Looks well made, nice mic stand holder included with carry pouch, nice clean sound on the tinny side, bass wasn't strong. The bad- no on or off switch no volume control. Not good on stage when you need to kill it. Picks up to much breath sounds and when I bump the harp on the face it really carries thru the mic. You have to draw very hard and get a good seal with your hands to get that nasty 2 draw bent sound. I ordered a Green bullet 3 days later. When the Bullet arrived I played the two with the same settings and the Green Bullet blew the Bushman away. It's the difference between a 4 cyl engine and a blown funny car. Spend the extra few dollars and get the Green Bullet. I returned the Bushman

Just got the mic today, and love it already. Feels good in your hands and the sound is incredible, and virtualy no feedback, well I had to hold it against the speaker at practice levels. I can't wait to get out and Jam with it. If you are looking for a NEW mic as opposed to a vintage, this is the one...
