I was skeptical at first about the interfaces capabilities, but once I figured out that it worked best when used as an effects plug-in with the Apple Logic 8 Express program instead of as a stand-alone unit, the creative floodgates opened. It comes with some pretty kick-butt standard amps and presets, including sounds used by the Police, Eddie Van Halen, U2, and even my favorite, Nile Rodgers of CHIC. I would have given it a 5 rating but it doesn't have more audio inputs or a MIDI input which Logic uses extensively. Other than that, it's a great box for any money.

First let me say that I am one of the most computer unfriendly people there are. Installing the Session setup took a little doing and I blame that on my own lack of knowledge. Thankfully, the support team at NI guided me through and everything is as it should be. The Session I/O interface is crystal clear and the GR3 XE software has such a fantastic tone to it. I found from trying the different amp modeling software demos out there that the GR3 has the most authentic tones to the original amps they are modeling. I highly recommend this setup.
