I picked up the MP102 at the Clearance Center, and use it for DJ work, and in a podcast production studio. It's a great machine that plays almost everything. The controls are pretty easy to use once you get used to them. It's a fairly simple player, I figured it out without a manual. Right now, I'm trying to convince my college radio station to switch their old broken Sony players with a pair of these.

Choose this over the Tascam guitar trainer

I bought this unit after growing frustrated over the Tascam guitar trainer. Tascam's unit is a toy. The Numark unit is a much more sturdy and professional unit. I use it to "loop" portions of CD tracks when practicing or woodshedding guitar riffs and for picking out intricate harmony parts that would otherwise fly by too fast. It sure beats the old days of dropping a needle on an LP hundreds of times. I also use this unit as my primary CD player. Very satisfied.
