I picked this mixer up about 6 months ago and I like it. The frequency kill buttons are awesome, sliders are quite decent. It sounds good, the effects arent horrible.
There is a QC issue with the top imprint panel for the control knobs and labels. The right channel knobs read Treble, Mid, Bass when in fact they are backwards. The bar that has the names of the effects on mine was not lined up real well when it was installed. I also wish it had cue buttons instead of a slider knob to switch channels for the headphones.

I like the low/mid/high pass kill buttons next to the faders quite a bit. Much more so than the other version with the kills runing horizontal above the channel faders. Its a decent mixer, sounds good etc, most everything you would expect.
On the one that I got, the panel that indicates the type of effect was not installed with too much care, its off center and you can see light on the right side of it.. just an aesthetic thing so its no biggie.
The BPM rate that it starts up with on power up drives me nuts, the tap button is big and lights up so it kind of distracts me so I tend to either hold it down to disable or tap it and make it slower.. this of course is just my picky opinion.
The worst thing about this mixer is the sound level meters between the channel faders. OMG they are way too bright! If its really dark and staring straight down at the mixer, they blind you so you cant see the rest of the mixer. I sometimes take a small piece of paper and lay it over the top. People always ask me why I do that, so I tell them to look down on the mixer and pull it off.. they immediately get it.
It would be nice to have XLR outs, maybe even 1/4"!
Other than that, I like the mixer and use it almost every day. It's been going for 3 months now and have had no issues.

Over all this is a pretty good little mixer. I think its perfect for practicing and playing around at home. BUT for the professional or Moderately Advanced Dj. The Treble and Bass control knobs channel 2 are labeled wrong they need to be switched. suprising numark didn't catch this. If you have the money and are just looking for a 2 channel with Fx, go with the pioneer Djm 400 all the same stuff and then some PLUS quality
