I bought this, only wanting the stand and cable, which was smart. The Microphone isn't even considerable, at least for me. However, the cable and stand are great! The cables are by far my favorite, and not a single one has broke (I have four). The stand does not have a detachable boom, but that may be the key to the durability of it! I bought a few of the nady packs like this, and although they have a better mic, the cable and boom broke on both! Even if I just need a stand, or cable, I'll pick up one of these sets, either is worth the money.

I think it's funny that someone is complaining that this pack is falling apart after heavy use. This is a bargain pack, not a pro set up. For what you pay, you definitely get more than your money's worth. I've had five or six of these stands and only one has broken on me. The mics aren't very strong, but they get the job done. The cable is the weakest point. All in all, though, this On-Stage Stands Mic Pro Pack is a steal. I'm ordering another right now.

This package is great for beginning musicians/recorders. The mic isn't all that good but it gets the job done. The cable isn't great but it's plenty long for my recording studio. The stand is nice but make sure that you turn all of the knob things really tight. It's a great package for beginners and if your looking for a basic package of equipment that works and gets the job done then this is the right thing for you.

I submitted a review for this item saying that the mic is a piece of junk. It turns out that the issue was with the wind-blocker foam inside the mic. I took it out and used another and the mic works fine. Overall very good for the money.

Just received my mic pak, wasn't expecting what I received. I own maybe 38-40 stands, and this one was better than many I have paid much more for. Fully adjustable boom, heavy base legs, and very stable. I teach kids music and recording in my home studio, this set will be hard to wreck. Mic is great for live in-studio recording, only thing is the switch is a little noisy. No complaints, I thing I will order a couple more!!
