my favorite feature about these speakers(pv 215)is that the high frequency driver is protected by the sound guard internal system(fuses),so you dont have to worry about your high frequency,and as far as the lows, pretty decent,no distorcion so thats good,so far i`ve been happy with mine, i`ve used them for two years and they still work and sound great, so, for the price i wouldn`t hesitate to buy them,the price is perfect.

i got a pair 6 months ago and have not had any trouble with the sound,i set these on top of my 18 subs and i can play any where inside and out with ease.all you have to do is learn how to gain stage your setup and you'll get nothing but pure clean sound.peavey fan all the way.don't use anything else

I got a set of these PV215's and was quite pleased at how good they brought out more of the low end frequency's. Maybe it's the 2 15's together, quality of the speaker....or maybe my others just didnt have what it took. I do have good subs, but the subs were just handling the very low sub sonic sounds and it just seemed like something was missing. These did the trick for the sound and the price made them a no brainer. If you're on a budget, and most of us are, at least give them a try and you can judge for yourself. No theyre not high end....but far from a low end cabinet also.

I bought them 2 years ago and use them alot. These don't carry the enough low end alone but they work well as topside speakers. I run them with a 808S mackie pwr mixr for small PA needs. kick drum has no punch in this set up so I barely put it in the mix. The wattage rating is not as strong as stated. I've pushed them too far once already. For small rooms( 75 - 150 people) the can do the job. Anything bigger and you need subs. For big jobs I use them as tops with some single 18 subs and they work fine. Again, be mindful of the power rating, but overall they are good for the money. Be realistic in your expectations though. I'm happy with the performance with a small PA, but don't push them too hard.

i own these speakers since oct 07 , they are good but you need to buy the 18 s sub to have a good bass without them the sound is average
