The Pioneer CDJ-200 Pro CD Player is packed with features that will make any DJ drool! Open up a new remix world with the digital jog break function, complete with a large jog dial that you can operate in time with the music to create original sound effects. Pitch bend changes the music tempo depending on the speed and direction the jog dial is rotated. Frame search moves the pause position in frame units when the jog dial is rotated in pause mode. A high-precision slider allows for easy tempo adjustment. Master tempo control maintains the same sound pitch while changing the music's tempo. Cue functions let you control when the music starts and from what point. Realtime seamless looping simplifies the setting and canceling of loops. Slot loading makes quick disc changes a snap. Does not support VBR MP3s.

If you don’t care about scratching then this is it. Perfect cueing, fader start friendly, very very reliable if you don’t believe me look up the older model (pioneer cdj 100) and read there review once you go pioneer you stay with pioneer

I purchased this unit as a backup, after using it for 2 shows it stopped playing. I sent it in to be repaired under warranty. After getting it back (it is still a backup unit) and using it for 2 shows some months later it quite playing AGAIN and because I have owned for over 1 year pioneer refuses to fix it even though it is THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM.I WILL NEVER BUY PIONEER AGAIN. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!!

These units are awesome for their price. In this price bracket, you will NOT get a CD player that can scratch well enough to be worth it, so Pioneer just decided- "forget scratching," and focused on the quality of the CDJ. Great idea imo. The best thing about them is their awesome pitch bend jog dial, which is better even than the cdj-1000. Mine have been through some falls and stil work great. Plus they are so sexy lookinh...

After having learned on one of these, you start to really appreciate the little things that Pioneer gave you to work with. Things that you really take for granted such as:

Pitch (Key) Lock Able to find EXACT cue points - 1/75th of a second Cue Locking that makes logical sense Button layouts that make logical sense Nice huge jogwheel Great sound No problem reading burned CDs BPM Counters that may misread slow intros, but quite accurate when you get into the meat of the song

Took all of it for granted til I had to use an earlier Numark set - ugh. Horrid, horrid horrid. Cueing was brutally retarded on the Numark, Key lock didn't exist, and setting loops, again, was set up by a man who either took lots of drugs or who was a sadist.

A nice, precice tool that fits the job very well. Not a sloppy pipe-wrench like the Numark.
