I going to school to be a DJ and they work perfect for me. The only down side is my hair sometimes gets caught in them if it not up but they sound great and I can hear every little detail of the music.

I've owned the same pair of these for about 5 years now very rugged construction. Most dj's opt for the more expensive headphones and the drivers on those others are better but almost every pair of the sony/pioneer headphones I've seen break within a year at the swivle these won't.

I am not a DJ, so I can't comment about how good they are for that application. However, I use these as my general use phones, and I love them beyond compare. The sound is tight and precise without any mushiness that I have heard in other phones. Plus, the bass is fantastic and expansive - when I close my eyes, the soundstage is huge.

Love love love love love these phones.

I seem to have lost mine, and it's only a matter of time before I buy a new pair.
