Firepod works great! PLenty of features packed in there. The mike does have a flimsy shock mount yes. It will strip eventually, but the mike sounds as good as several $500-$1000 mikes out there that I have used in the past. The headphones are only decent. The monitors have great full sound, with a tiny bit of botoom end missing, but you really have to use a sub if you want that.

I was skepticle about spending the money on this at first(after using a US-122), but i figured ohh well might as well get it while i can. And let me tell you this thing is awesome. The whole kit is great, althought i didnt use the Cubecase software i use COOL EDIT Pro. I plugged in my guitar and buddy plug in his key board and we were recording in no time.

This's a great product for the price. Great for level entry professionals. The firebox is one neat small device recording your instruments and microphones into your computer. Somemore with Cubase LE(do check if your running OSX tiger, request for the update because 1.07 does not instal) that comes with Firebox and the extra bundle that musicanfriend has put out, this's quite a deal.
