After designing, building and repairing pro-audio systems for 30 years, I have seen a lot of brands and designs. For a small portable rig, these take the cake!
The specs are impressive, but what the specs here do not tell you is just how incredibly flat these little beauties are, or how wide the dispersion is. The off-axis response is superb, which means a stereo pair of them handles full-range sound over a wide audience even in acoustically-challenging spaces. The nearly ruler-flat response means you get much higher gain before feedback. Pole mounting is essential for small speakers, but these are so lightweight, you don't need heavy-duty stands. They are set-up to use a spare mic stand you might already have. They come with adapters that allow you to use a regular stand.
I have even used them for light DJ gigs in conjunction with a little sub. Believe it or not, I used the Tapco SW-10 powered sub... just one, the same one I use in my little studio.
I agree with all the positive reviews. You won't believe how big these beautiful, classy-looking little things sound!

I've just purchased a set (2) of these speakers recently, but before then I was really skeptical about buying them, mostly because of the price and the concern of it's compact (small) size of sound output, but I've read all of the reviews and printed out a copy of the owners manual and read through it too. I was convinced and spent the money to purchase the pair, and after using it twice in 2 weeks doing gigs, I am very satisfied with what I hear and of the sound quality coming out of these speakers, and the compact size that it is too. I used them with my pair of Bose MB4 sub's and they work great all together (they really kick butt...) but These QSC's have a really loud chrystal clear sound, and I am very happy that I brought them without regrets. I would highly recomend them for the dollar...

These things sound like studio monitors, only LOUDER! They handle 200 watts without complaint or any distortion. Great flat frequency response... very musical. Off-axis response is superb! Lightweight...17lbs. Very easy to handle. Just amazing sound and stereo imaging (with two of them obviously) Combined with a nice little mixer and a decent power amp... these make the core of a great portable PA. Highly recommended!

I bought the original EONS when they came out. They were great. Then I used the Mackie powered speakers, which were even better. Recently, I have had a chance to use these little beauties. WOW! They sound like studio monitors only LOUDER!
If you know anything about speaker design, you know what a technical feat it is to engineer a flat-response speaker system. The geniuses at QSC have done it! Check the specs for yourself!
These thing have beautiful, nearly ruler-flat response and outstanding dispersion. For a feather-weight speaker (just 17 lbs ) these things handle a ton of power. They're good-looking too!
Every pro knows the legendary quality of QSC amps. Now they have entered the speaker market with a vengeance! The competition is heating up. Right now, my money is on QSC.
I couldn’t be happier with this purchase and highly recommend QSC speakers.

These things sound like studio monitors, only louder.
Light, loud, clear, clean, sweet, musical and darn near ruler-flat. Beautiful stereo imaging. Wide dispersion.
If you know anything about speaker-design, then read the specs. QSC has engineered a miracle!
Combined with a QSC amp? ...Awesome!
I am going to buy more.
