Not The Neumann, But Close!

I wanted a Neumann KMS105. They're in the $600 range. Sang through one once & never sounded so good. Tony Bennet's mic of choice. Sadly, can't afford it. Then I heard of this Rode S1. Tried one at a friend's who owned one. IT SOUNDED THE SAME AS THE NEUMANN! The high-end presence, low-end richness, cut-thru-the-mix- clarity...it was all there! For a lot less than the Neumann. I'm now the proud owner of a Rode S1 & thru my Mackie 808S head & Yamaha S115V speakers my vocals are just awesome! I used to sing thru a Shure Beta58 but my bandmates can't believe the difference! If you're a lead singer, buy one, you won't be sorry.
