Its great! I've had it for about a year now and no problems! It sounds crystal clear (no fuzz or hissing). It has plenty of gain, which is never needed. Overall I would recommend the pre-amp, great for any kind of recording!

I bought this preamp at first for the phantom power supply and have ended up using it for my drum mics, bass and guitar for recording with a good turnout. For its price it dilivers well and if your tight on the bucks its ideal.

This little unit is great for my applications. I use a stand alone unit and a computer based system as well. It has not given me any excess noise futhermore all channels, knobs and input/outputs work well. If you must have a more expensive unit then go for it. But I look at this unit as part of my equipment arsenal. Just like microphones..one usually has a compliment of different mics. This unit is worth a try. This is a new era and technology has allowed companies to make excellent equipment for a reasonable price.
