Excellent

I have this mic and an SM57 both. I did a side by side comparison when I first pulled this outta the box, and quite honestly I couldn't hear the slightest difference whatsover in the mids and highs, but the low end is vastly improved in this model over the SM58. WIth the 58 I'd get loud explosions every time I pronounced a "P" or "B", but this mic does nothing of the sort. I can even sing with my teeth right on the grill and I get no muddiness in the lows, provided I don't wrap my mouth around it. It seems to me that all mics improve within the first few weeks of use, and lately I've been getting the best vocal quality I've ever gotten. I actually prefer this mic on acoustic and electric guitars over the 906. I'd imagine it would make a great snare mic as well. Good job Sennheiser!

Beta 58 vs. e935

After reading a thousand reviews I decided to give the e935 a try. For the last several years I've used the Shure Beta 58A for live gigs and have never been displeased with it…I suppose it was just time to buy a new mic and in the end for a dynamic vocal mic under two bills this e935 seemed to be the ticket. This past week I did a side by side comparison between my trusty Beta 58 and the e935 and here's what I found. With all due respect to those reviewers who noticed a big difference between the two, I have to say I did not. I really like the feel, heft, and looks of the 935, but acoustically, I just couldn't tell the two apart. Both are great mics and I'm keeping the 935 for sure. Have fun shopping!

The Sennheiser e935 Cardioid Dynamic Microphone, is the best wired mic I've ever used. Whether on stage outdoors, or in a small church, this mic will do the job. I've been singing Southern Gospel for more than 30 years, used almost every mic known to man, & the Sennheiser e935 Cardioid Dynamic Microphone is by far, the best yet.

SENNHEISER E935 vs. SHURE BETA 58A

Just received my E935 last night; if there is a word for microphone bliss, I would use it now. In comparison to my BETA 58A (well let me re-state, there is no comparison). The E935 was crisper, clearer, better lows, better mids and highs. It really puts your vocals out front. Although this is not a condensor mic, it sounds like (high end studio quality). This mic is even better than my Shure Beta 87A. Nice job and thanks Sennheiser.

Im a worship leader who runs in ears. These mic's are great. were not running the top of the line in ear system but these mics cut through the mix, they make me sound awesome. also really sensitive, if you dont watch it the drums are intense through the house. But all in all a awesome mic worth getting.
