This mic is amazing. It made me sound so well over my entire band at a venue I played at. A week before using this mic, I had used an SM58. This mic made that look like dirt. I recommended this to any musician looking to make themselves sound as good as they do in the studio, on stage.

As a studio owner, part time dj, and bass player in a metal band with a Job in broadcast I have a ridiculous list of mics, but whenever I do a live show or practice with the band this is the first mic I grab for my lead vocalist, announcer, or myself. I have noticed it has a much more precise, dynamic sound than I get from my 58's or even the beta 58s, Sh55's, and even some condensers I've used in the past. Just like everyone else in the music world, the band I work with was up to the mercy of what the venues had. And just as you would expect they all had SM-58's or worse. One night the mic would hum, and the next it would sound like the singer was underwater. We were so happy to get this mic and escape those horrors of uncertianty. The consistancy of the vocals from room to room and from system to system was astounding! The feedback rejection was awesome, even with the perils of really crappy wedges. We even had the chance to stack it up against a beta 58a, and it made it look like a nady star power. It was so much warmer and responsive, with a much better pickup range. And the feedback rejection was a thousand times better. We put them on the same stand in the same spot, in front of the same monitors, with the same volume settings, the only change was the mic, and the beta sat there and whined, while the e845 was dead silent. I smiled at the owner of the beta and then told him what mic it was that out performed his. This is an exelent "on the road" mic, mabey even the best. I highly recomend it.
