The Sennheiser ew300 IEM G2 wireless in-ear personal monitor system is everything you need for professional in-ear monitoring in any context. Need the right power supply!

I just received mine yesterday, and it looks great. If they would've inlcuded the proper power supply in box, I could've even turned it on! I would expect better quality control from Sennheiser. I'm just glad I didn't open the box at a gig, or I'd have been without a monitor!

I've been using sennheiser/neuman products exclusively since about 2005 and have tried it all. The high end Shure gear comes close to the Sennheiser 300 series for much more money than this great deal! Sennheiser always impresses me with their features and reliability, I'd definitely go with a Sennheiser/Neuman rig over a lot of Shure's gear any day however both have their pros/cons. With this the ear buds are weak. I am an Ultimate Ears user/endorser and I've used all of the competition's gear and UE always comes out on top. I reccommend starting with the Triple-Fi from UE (Destributed by M-Audio) and moving up the the 7-Pro and 11 pro., the 10 Pro work well for vocalists too. At any rate I'd reccomend this product with some Ultimate Ears in ear monitors and you'll be set. Say no to wedges and save your ears! Other great Sennheiser products include their 900 series drum mics - the absolute best in their class - only second to the dual capsule Audio-technica kick drum mics. If one puts the E902 and the E901 (I believe) in the kicks, it'll be sounds of heaven. Not to mention the fact that their E835 and E838 are twice the quality of Shure's Beta 58 for less cash.

All in all I'd reccomend their entire line.

I'm a Lead Vocalist who enjoys being mobile. The difficulties in moving around and being able to hear myself were immense. This Unit is nothing short of incredible. I can stand directly in front of a lead Guitarists rig or out in the parking lot and can still hear exactly where my vocals need to be without straining my voice. If your as active as I am you might want to replace the Earbuds. I have'nt as of yet but think I am going to. Thae more active I become, and sweat, the more likely they are to pop out of my ear. I'll never count on a , wedge monitoring, system again.

First... let me stress... upgrade the ear-buds. I thought the sound quality of the buds was ok, but they do not last long. 3 sets of buds stopped working within 2 months. They are not even close to the shure buds. I got the shure E3s and love em.

Anyway... my band had mixed feelings on the in-ear system. I was all for trying it... but wasn't sure how I'd adapt. I think we were all extremely pleased even after the first nite with them. It took some experimenting over a few months time to figure out all the little tricks etc... but now... it is simply amazing. I can't imagine ever playing with floor wedges again.

This system has some great features too. I especially love that you can have 2 separate channels - each with its own separate mix. I have been mixing the vox to one channel and the instruments to the other. That way... you can focus more on the vox or instruments as you please.

Also... the body packs are a perfect size. They are not too large unlike the shure units. They are well constructed and road worthy to say the least. Battery life is pretty good too. I usually get 8-10 hours out of a pair of batteries...

Sound quality is amazing. No interference at all. And it is crystal clear. You'll be amazed at how well you can hear yourself (and every little mistake... lol).

If you have never used in-ear monitors... you have no idea what you're missing. Spend the extra money for this Sennheiser unit. It is worth it.

As a professional Worship leader, eliminating distraction is important during services. Having only floor monitors, it can be hard to hear the needed instruments for reference when singing. Using the ew300 G2 I spend more time hitting correct vocal pitch rather than trying to find my voice through loud stage volumes. When singing daily vocal strain is not an option. The ew300 G2 provides the ability for a perfect "sweet spot" no matter where I stand!

Its a bit pricey given today’s technology but I highly recommend this set-up if you have the money.
