Have owned it about a year now with no problems at all. I don't detect any lose of sound quality or any noise when using it. Though I've dropped the transmitter a few times it's still working fine. Don't kow about overall duability, I play contemporary christian music mostly in church, so no head-banging here!! It's great to be able to back away from the platform and get a sound check.

Pluses are. Sound is very good. Minuses are. Plastic clip on belt pack is no good. Antenna's are fixed so they are probaly not an easy replacement.

I bought this unit after returning a more expensive Line 6 unit that failed to deliver. It has a very minor impact on tone which I was pleased with. The unit is very easy to operate and performs flawlessly. I feel it is a good value for the price.

Everything you dislike about wireless has been fixed.

Pros: There is no gain loss whatsoever. The battery door is on the front, the jack is threaded so it won't pull out, powering the pack on creates a minimal *pop*, great range, balanced and unbalanced outputs.

Cons: Antenna on the pack is fixed and may break over time, no rackmount option, belt clip is plastic (cmon guys!)

But the price point knocks everyone else out of the standing.
