The sound is great. I use it with almost everything besides recording. If your on the go with an MP3 player or want to just chill and jam with this headset plugged into your amp, you'll be very well off. The output is clear with plenty of bass, mids, and treble. I would recommend these headphones to anyone. Awesome product. Hasn't let me down yet. Always a joy to put them on.

These are not for critical monitoring, but for that you would use speakers, right? The sound of these headphones is much more than adequate for all but the most critical monitoring, and they are lightweight and comfortable, which makes a big difference when you're recording a two-hour concert.

First off, I have never owned a pair of headphones that lasted more than a year before these, I have been beating the hell out of them for almost 4 years now and they keep coming back for more. The sound quality is very tollerable, I would hesitate to use them in the studio, but for every day listening you can't go wrong.

They are fairly comfortable for the first hour or two, but after more than 3, you will need to take them off.

I can't tell you how many times I've stepped on this exceptionally long wire and dropped them. Let's face it .. it just happens when you're dj'ing, but they have yet to break. If there's one thing every headphone should have, its deteachable parts. Both ear pieces conveniently snap off as well as the cords from each ear piece, therefore, if you step on the cord, they unplug before they overpull & bust the wire. The sound quality is ok, but like any other decent dj out there, I use only 1 headphone/ear to listen to my cue and the other to the live music to beatmatch. The cord had to be replace once, but hey, I've had them for 2 yrs now and the work just as well as they did when I first bought them. most of these new heaphones out there have rotating plastic parts that snap on the first drop..very comfortable as they swallow ur entire ear to cancel out extra noise..removeable ear pieces to satisfy comfort. xlr jack as well as stereo jack for universal compatability...overall, highly durable, low price, decent sound quality. great buy!

I use these at work everyday (video editing) and was so impressed with their combination of comfort vs. decent sound quality that I went and bought a pair for the home studio. Are they the best headphones of all time? No. But in my opinion the difference between these and headphones costing up to four times as much is not strong enough to warrant spending that kind of cash. Plus, to be honest, I find these so much more comfortable than the heavier, more expensive phones that I would probably reach for these first, anyway. They also come with the 1/4" adapter and have "breakaway" plugs where the cord meets the earphones, meaning when you step on the (really long) cord by accident, your phones will unplug before they break. A cool feature on headphones so cheap. I'm satisfied with them.
