The E822s Mic is a great value, nice sound , tone and built tough. Mic stand kind of cheap, but what do you expect, works well for a amps or when no one will be touching during use, Clip is made of rubber, time will tell, the cables look tough, so far so good. over all a good value.

I got this microphone along with a Phonic Powerpod 410 PA system. I ordered it separately, so when the PA came I had to use the mic it came with. And to be honest, I didn't think it was that bad, but when the mics came, I was amazed at the sound quality and clarity. I had a friend come over and test it with me. He was amazed as well. Defiantly a great choice. Im very happy I made a choice like this. :)

I own an e815 and an e 822, the e 822 is a hair better than the e815, I noticed it has more copper windings than the 815 and it has less feed back, but it seems to be less sensitive than the 815. Any one else wouldnt notice, but I have a lot of spare time and like to do my own test like turn up the mic volume and hold the mic about 3 ft in front of the speaker virtically then gradually tilt the mic toward the speaker until it begins to feed back. I check to see which one I can tilt more since I don't have and room to really set up anything.. The tone is warm with a noticeable rounded ceramic (as opposed to glass)sharpness toward the high end yet at high volume, it slices through the wall of sound with ease when you sing right into it. really great mic for singing, speaking. This mic is defitly worth the price and then some. I recommend this mic instead of that over rated mic from the 60's.
