I have used these in recording, gigs, mobile and everything in between. These needles do take a beating and are very very durable. This is a needle that will be very very demanding by DJs. Anyone who hasnt tried this needle are missing out on alot.

Hands-down, M44G is the best all-around DJ cartridge there is. They track like crazy, you really have to bang on them to get them to skip. Sound quality is very round and warm -- not too punchy or brittle. I use these for live sets, and recording. I've tried 8 other kinds of cartridges, I'm never changing again.

I've had a set of these for two years, same styli. I scratch, mix, backcue, and play them constantly. Very durable, they take the beating. Great Sound.
