I was concerned after reading them that I would be disapointed with the pg14 system. Not the case. The cases for both the reciever and the transmitter are light weight and not designed to be abused or thrown around. In todays day of electronics lighter and smaller are the trend and that is what this unit offers. The quality of electronic circuitry is similiar to Shure high end gear and signal decay is miminal. (Not noticeable) It has performed exactly as advertised. I use this wireless with an Ampeg BA 210 bass amp on the road and it is simple and reliable. The signal is very clear. I made a tray for the reciever that velcro's to the top of my amp. (I my opinion, that is the way to go.) The component durability is average to good and like most wireless systems dependent on a good quality battery. This wireless system will no doubt handle any sound requirements for live performance.

I have owned this wireless system for almost a year and a half now after i bought it off our old bassist. This product has good range, i am able to play upstairs with my amp being in the basement. I play through a Peavey 5150 so it does work with my high gain equipment. The only problem with this wireless system is that it cuts the sustain of your playing and causes the sound to "die" a lot faster than playing with a cable. It is fine for the time being but i am definitely going to invest in a better quality wireless system down the road.

I just received mine in the mail today. I am very satisfied and somewhat surprised. I have heard about how these wireless setups lower the volume, can't handle gain, etc. I do not see these issues. In fact, the volume seems to be a touch louder. Tone is not compromised, nor is any part of the sound compromised. I took my guitar and plugged it in to the wireless and then used a cord to compare and I can't hear any difference in the sound. This thing isn't cheap, but it is a great product for the money.

This unit simply just cannot handle high gain whether it be clean or distorted. My guitarist in my band purchased the unit, never really used it and handed it off to me to use if I felt like it.

I play a Paul Reed Smith CE-24 through a Marshall JCM900 with a 1960a cabinent. Needless to say when I switch to my distortion patch with the gain very high, the unit cannot handle it.
