These microphones are a good buy for a really good price. When I got the microphones I was impressed with their heavy duty construction. They are really solid and are hard to break. The sound quality is also very good. I just wish that the item description said that these microphones are for voice applications instead of singing. The stands are pretty good. They hold well, but if you have the boom all the way out the stand might fall. The only thing that I thought was bad was the cables. They twist way to easily and they break very frequently. I've had to repair them many times. If you get this then you should get new cables. Overall I was very pleased with this product.

I recieved this 3 days after my order, and immediately put it to use. We use lots of backup vocals in our band, and while these may not be PG58s or SM58s they definitely get the job done. Don't be turned off by the fact that they are supposed to be for talking, they carry a melody just fine. Our drummer also sings, and this mic does a good job of capturing his voice without taking in all the sounds of the drumset as well. The only reason I'm giving 4.5 to features is that the cords are a bit too long in my opinion and get tangled up on stage very easily.
